This privacy policy explains how Mr. Knowbody, Inc. (“Knowbody”) uses the data we collect from you when you use our website or mobile application.

SCOPE

This privacy policy applies to https://mrknowbody.com (the “Site”) and the mobile application (the “Knowbody App“), collectively, (“Knowbody“). This policy does not apply to information collected through any other website or to the practices of organizations and companies that Knowbody does not control. Please note that the Site may contain links to other websites. For example, if you click on a link to another website, then this privacy policy will not apply to any information collected on that website. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites, and under current law, they are free to use your information for their own business purposes and to sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.

WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

Knowbody collects the following data:

  • Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number, address, location and IP address.)
  • Non-personal identification information ( age, size dimensions, social network, job title, school, and gender.)

HOW WE COLLECT YOUR DATA

You directly provide Knowbody with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register online or through the Mr. Knowbody application.
  • Place an order for any of our products or services.
  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email.
  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.
  • Use or view the Mr. Knowbody mobile application.
  • Knowbody may also receive your data indirectly when you use your Social Media account to sign-up.

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

Knowbody collects your data so that we can:

  1. Providing services and features

Knowbody uses the information we collect to provide, personalize, maintain and improve our products and services. This includes using the information to:

  • Create and update your account.
  • Verify your identity.
  • Process or facilitate payments for services.
  • Offer, obtain, provide or facilitate insurance or financing solutions in connection with our services.
  • To track and monitor the progress of your modeling.
  • Determine an automated calculation of user social influence rating.
  • Provide recommendations for jobs.
  • Provide recommendations for models.
  • Enable features that allow you to share information with other users.
  • Enable features to personalize your Knowbody account, such as creating bookmarks for your favorite brands and models, and to enable quick access to previous jobs.
  • Enable accessibility features that make it easier for users with disabilities to use our services.
  • Perform internal operations necessary to provide our services, including to troubleshoot software bugs and operational problems, to conduct data analysis, testing, and research, and to monitor and analyze usage and activity trends.
  • Knowbody requires user profile information in order to provide its services, and retains such information for as long you maintain your Knowbody account. Knowbody retains certain information, including transaction, location, device and usage information, for a minimum of seven years in connection with regulatory, tax, insurance and other requirements in the places in which it operates. Once such information is no longer necessary to provide Knowbody’s services, enable customer support, enhance the user experience or other operational purposes, Knowbody takes steps to prevent access to or use of such information for any purpose other than compliance with these requirements or for purposes of safety, security and fraud prevention and detection. You may request deletion of your account at any time through emailing adar@mrknowbody.com. Following such request, Knowbody deletes the information that it is not required to retain. In certain circumstances, Knowbody may be unable to delete your account, such as if there is an outstanding credit on your account or an unresolved claim or dispute. Upon resolution of the issue preventing deletion, Knowbody will delete your account as described above. Knowbody may also retain certain information if necessary for its legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention and enhancing users’ safety and security. For example, if Knowbody shuts down a user’s account because of unsafe behavior or security incidents, Knowbody may retain certain information about that account to prevent that user from opening a new Knowbody account in the future.
  1. Safety and security

We use your data to help maintain the safety, security and integrity of our services and users. This includes, for example:

  • Preventing fraud and helping to protect other users.
  • Using device, location, profile, usage and other information to prevent, detect, and combat fraud or unsafe activities. This includes processing of such information, in certain countries, to identify practices or patterns that indicate fraud or risk of safety incidents. This may also include information from third parties. In certain cases such incidents may lead to deactivation by means of an automated decision making process. Users in the EU have the right to object to this type of processing.
  1. Customer support

Knowbody uses the information we collect (including recordings of customer support calls after notice to you and with your consent) to assist you when you contact our customer support services, including to:

  • Direct your questions to the appropriate customer support person
  • Investigate and address your concerns
  • Monitor and improve our customer support responses
  1. Research and development

We may use the information we collect for testing, research, analysis and product development. This allows us to improve and enhance the safety and security of our services, develop new features and products, and facilitate insurance and finance solutions in connection with our services.

  1. Communications among users

Knowbody uses the information we collect to enable communications between our users. For example, an advertiser may message a model or vis versa to negotiate the terms of a modeling job (i.e. the pay rate per hour).

  1. Communications from Knowbody

Knowbody may use the information we collect to communicate with you about products, services, promotions, studies, surveys, news, updates and events. Knowbody may also use the information to promote and process contests and sweepstakes, fulfill any related awards, and serve you relevant ads and content about our services and those of our business partners. You may receive some of these communications based on your profile as a Knowbody user. Users in the EU have the right to object to this type of processing.

Knowbody may also use the information to inform you about elections, ballots, referenda and other political and policy processes that relate to our services.

  1. Legal proceedings and requirements

We may use the information we collect to investigate or address claims or disputes relating to your use of Knowbody’s services, or as otherwise allowed by applicable law, or as requested by regulators, government entities, and official inquiries.

If you agree, Knowbody will share your data with our partner companies so that they may offer you their products and services.

When Knowbody processes your order, it may send your data to, and also use the resulting information from, credit reference agencies to prevent fraudulent purchases.

HOW WE STORE DATA

Knowbody securely stores your data at a private location and takes reasonable security precautions.

Knowbody will keep your data for a maximum of seven years. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data.

MARKETING

Knowbody would like to send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like, as well as those of our partner companies.

If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date.

You have the right at any time to stop Knowbody from contacting you for marketing purposes.

CHILDREN UNDER 13

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected any personal information from a child under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information from our database as quickly as possible. If you believe that we may have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at help@mrknowbody.com. Knowbody would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to access – You have the right to request Knowbody for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that Knowbody correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Knowbody to complete information you believe is incomplete.
